Most of us slather on deodorant every morning without giving much thought to what is actually in that little container. Now that I have done some research on the conventional deodorants and antiperpirants, the ingredient label is now the first thing i check. An antiperspirant does exacly what it sounds like. It doesn’t allow you to sweat, which is detrimental to your health! Your body needs to have open pathways to release toxins and when you use an antipersperant, it doesn’t allow your body to do what it needs to. Yikes! Parabens, another common ingredient, are preservatives that have been shown to disrupt hormone levels. (The amount of products we use daily that cause hormone disruption is actually quite scary.)
