If I want a super deep tan, I will usually shower and wash off the ‘first coat’ and reapply after the shower to get a darker look!

Application: The mousse applies easily with a tanning mitt, which helps you achieve an even, smooth finish. I get asked if the mitt is needed and I would say I highly recommend it. Using your hands will cause it to be super uneven and can cause streaks (and nobody wants to look like a bronzed zebra). The formula isn’t tinted like other drugstore brands, so it can be hard to see where you’re applying it. Just ensure no spots are missed by using the tanning mitt to apply the mousse in a circular motion.

Results: After about 4-6 hours, you’ll notice a gorgeous, natural-looking tan! (I normally apply it before I go to bed and shower in the morning.) It’s not too dark or orange, and it fades evenly, so you won’t have to deal with patches or streaks as the days go on. (I have gone through my fair share of crappy tanners so this is a huge plus for me!) With continued use, the mousse gives you a beautiful, sun-kissed glow that’s perfect for all skin tones.

PSA:
Don’t cuddle with your husband, boyfriend, or kids after applying or they will be left with tanner on their arms or legs and you will have a pale splotch. This may or may not have happened with my son – but at least it’s nontoxic right! 🙂
